Al-Rahmah Community Centre is committed to nurturing Islamic knowledge from cradle to adulthood. Through Ar-Rahmah Academy, our Hifz programme, Tajweed classes, and adult seminars, we provide structured, inspiring education rooted in the Quran and Sunnah — all delivered in the heart of Glasgow

Al-Rahmah Academy — Arabic classes
Our Arabic classes provides children aged 5–16 with a comprehensive Islamic education in a warm, structured environment.
What children learn:
• Quran recitation with correct Tajweed
• Arabic language — reading and writing
• Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and ‘Ibadah (worship practices)
• Islamic history, Seerah of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم
• Islamic manners, ethics, and character building
Session Times:
• Saturday: 9:00am – 12:00pm
• Sunday: 9:00am – 12:00pm

Hifz Programme — Quran Memorisation
Our dedicated Hifz programme is open to motivated students wishing to memorise the entire Quran under the guidance of qualified Huffaz.
• Ages: 7 and above (assessed individually)
• Intensive and part-time tracks available
• Regular assessments and parent progress reports
• Celebrated Khatm al-Quran ceremony upon completion
Adult Tajweed Classes
It is never too late to perfect your recitation of the Quran. Our adult classes are friendly, patient, and welcoming to complete beginners.
• Beginners: Tuesdays 7:00pm – 8:30pm
• Intermediate: Thursdays 7:00pm – 8:30pm
• Sisters-only class: Wednesdays 10:00am – 11:30am
Taught by qualified teachers with Ijazah (authorised chain of transmission).
Weekend Seminars & Workshops
Throughout the year, Al-Rahmah hosts enriching seminars on a range of Islamic topics, delivered by scholars from across the UK and beyond.
