How booking works, step by step

  1. Check the date To check the Function Hall is free before applying, call or email us. A phone call does not reserve the date. Only a written confirmation does.
  2. Read our Terms & Conditions Please read the full Terms & Conditions of Facility Use before you book. You will be asked to confirm you agree to them.
  3. Fill in the booking form Complete the form at the bottom of this page with your details and the details of your event. The person booking must be 18 or over.
  4. We review your request Centre management will review your request and reply by email as soon as we can. We will agree the hire fee with you by email and then send our bank details for payment.
  5. Pay the deposit To hold your date, pay a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the agreed hire fee.
  6. Receive your written confirmation Your booking is only confirmed once we have received your deposit and sent you written confirmation with your booking reference.
  7. Sort out anything extra Before the event, make sure any extras have been agreed in writing: external caterers (who need a valid food hygiene certificate), decorations, early access for setup, and public liability insurance if we have asked for it.
  8. Pay the balance Pay the remaining balance at least 7 days before your event date, unless we have agreed something different in writing.
  9. On the day Arrive at your booked start time (not earlier unless agreed). Familiarise yourself with fire exits, evacuation procedures and first aid points, keep within the hall's capacity, and report any accident or damage to staff straight away.
  10. Finish and leave on time Take down all decorations, clear away any food waste, and vacate the space by your booked finish time. Extra time is charged at the standard hourly rate.

Frequently asked questions

Is my booking confirmed once I send the form?

No. Sending the form is a request. Your booking is confirmed only when we have received your deposit and sent you written confirmation.

Can I come in early to set up?

Only if early access has been requested and confirmed in writing. Otherwise, access starts at your booked start time, so include setup time in your booking.

Can I bring my own caterer?

Yes, if they are approved by us in advance, hold a valid food hygiene certificate, and all food is halal.

Do I need insurance?

We strongly recommend public liability insurance, and for larger events we may ask to see evidence of it.

What happens to my personal details?

We only use them to manage your booking and contact you about it, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We do not share them without your consent unless required by law. See our Privacy Policy.
